Health Surveillance

Statutory health surveillance programmes, HAVS, audiometry, spirometry and skin checks, delivered on-site across the UK and overseen by a GMC-registered physician.

If your workforce is exposed to vibration, noise, respiratory hazards or dermal risks, health surveillance is very likely a legal requirement, not an optional extra. We design and run programmes that keep you compliant and, more importantly, actually catch problems early.

Because every programme is overseen by a doctor rather than administered purely by a technician, you get sharper clinical interpretation of results and clearer next steps when something needs following up.

Who this is for

  • Employers with employees exposed to hand-arm vibration (HAVS)
  • Noisy environments requiring audiometry testing
  • Roles with respiratory risk requiring spirometry (lung function) testing
  • Workplaces with dermal exposure risk requiring skin surveillance

What's included

A typical programme includes baseline and periodic testing (HAVS tier questionnaires and testing, audiometry, spirometry or skin checks as relevant), doctor-reviewed results, and clear guidance on any employees who need referral, restriction or further review. Programmes are scheduled around your shift patterns and delivered on-site wherever possible.

The difference
The clinician who carries out your assessment makes the clinical judgement and writes the report, so the reasoning behind it is genuine, not templated.
Questions

Health Surveillance FAQs.

Is health surveillance a legal requirement?
For many exposures, including vibration, noise and certain respiratory and dermal hazards, health surveillance is a requirement under UK health and safety law. We can advise on what applies to your workforce.
Can you run a programme across multiple sites?
Yes, we run health surveillance programmes across single or multiple sites nationwide, coordinated centrally so you get consistent reporting.
What happens if a result flags a concern?
Any concerning result is reviewed by the doctor, who will recommend next steps, whether that is monitoring, a referral, or a change to duties.
